Prior to founding imhmn, Gustavo played pivotal roles at renowned global organizations, leaving an enduring impact on the landscape of data and analytics. His journey includes a significant chapter at Schneider Electric in Paris, France, where he managed a global team of Data and Analytics experts.
During his tenure at Schneider Electric, Gustavo undertook the ambitious task of building and transforming the People Analytics organization. His leadership was instrumental in navigating the complexities of business continuity analytics, where he spearheaded initiatives to mitigate the impact of the unprecedented challenges posed by Covid-19.
Before his international endeavors, Gustavo spent 12 impactful years at Walmart, Inc., contributing his analytical prowess and strategic insights to various roles. His multifaceted experience at one of the world's largest retailers solidified his expertise in analytics and strategy.
Gustavo is also recognized as a founding member of the Cynozure US chapter, a distinguished association uniting data-driven executives and Chief Data Officers from globally recognized companies. Gustavo was born in Panama City; Panamá, where he obtained his degree in Mechanical-Industrial Engineer. He completed his graduate studies in the University of Arkansas where he graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering with emphasis in Operations Research.
During his leisure time, Gustavo enjoys traveling, learning about neuroscience, inner management, nutrition, working out, surfing and technology. He practices mindfulness on a daily basis.
